CPS Week is the premier event on Cyber-Physical Systems. It brings together four top conferences, HSCC, ICCPS, IPSN, and RTAS, three summits, six tutorials, 21 workshops, a localization competition and various exhibitions from both industry and academia. Artemis added their Spring Event to this and we all met at the Hofburg Palace in Vienna, Austria.
The second day of the ARTEMIS Spring Event is organized by the Horizon2020 project Road2CPS in collaboration with ARTEMIS-IA and the European Commission. ‘Smart Cyber-Physical Systems – EC Clustering Event’ is the theme of the second day and bring together about 150 experts from academia, industry and policy-making to learn about and discuss highlights of Cyber-Physical Systems projects from Horizon2020 and ARTEMIS. The event was particularly set to foster exchange on and creating synergies regarding CPS innovation
perspectives and generating strategies for the future.
15 different projects are funded under the European Community’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme in the area of Smart Cyber-Physical Systems. All projects gave a short introduction and status of where they were in terms of time and deliverables. U-test was there and Hong-Linh Troung did a good job presenting the project, while also Waqar Ahmed and Anita Moe Larsen attended the conference.
We had plenty of time to interact with the people representing the other projects, and it was a learning experience for all participants. With our maxed out poster, we had good visibility and stood out from the crowd.
